Due Début, l'album qui a tout commencé...
The fruit of a musical collaboration evolving gradually since 1991 between Tim Puckett and Sean Gourley in a vast array of playing situations, the group began to take solid form in 2004 with a growing repertoire of vocal duet arrangements, Sean Gourley on guitar singing baritone lead and Tim Puckett on saxes with tenor vocal harmonies. Now, with the addition of Lexie Kendrick’s rich, clear alto voice and catalytic presence, the group is ready to exhort the hoards, flap the soul’s wings, calm the bête sauvage, jam up the halls and make a joyful noise.
Fruit d’une collaboration ayant graduellement évolué depuis 1991 entre Tim Puckett et Sean Gourley au sein d’un large éventail de situations musicales, le groupe prit réellement forme en 2004 avec la finalisation d’un répertoire vocal à deux voix où le saxophoniste et chanteur ténor Tim Puckett harmonise la mélodie occupée par le guitariste et baryton Sean Gourley. Aujourd’hui, et avec
la présence catalytique de Lexie Kendrick ainsi que des riches et claires qualités de sa voix, le groupe est prêt à, dixit Tim Puckett lui-même, « exhorter les foules, remplir les salles, ouvrir les ailes de l’âme, calmer la bête sauvage et produire un joyeux tapage »
